2023-24 Executive Board

 A 7th generation Texan, Christi grew up in Dallas and graduated with a BA in Political Science from the University of North Texas. Her goal for this year is to highlight and celebrate 100 years of improving health in Central Texas.

A graduate of the University of Texas, Karen has been a member of the TCMA since 1996. She has held various roles and especially loves political advocacy and community service. 

Beth joined the TCMA in 1998 and has served in many roles over the years. She has a Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Beth enjoys travel, hiking, exercise, live music, and cooking.

Shannon grew up in Houston and spent her professional life in journalism and advertising. She has 2 adult children and enjoys trail walking, exploring new restaurants and travelling.

Alison is the mom of 2 boys and enjoys running and spending time outside. She is a long time TCMA member who enjoys reading books in her free time.

Kathy is serving a second term in the Treasurer and Elect position. She has worked in her husbands dermatology office and is very involved in the TCMA Book Review. Kathy is an avid gardener. 

Inga spent her professional life as a certified project manager professional for IBM. She loves dogs, enjoys practicing yoga, weight training, running, ballet, opera and musical theatre. 

A member of the TCMA since the early 1990s, Edie has served the organization that she loves in various capacities and is a perfect fit for sharing that with prospective members. A real estate agent and an avid book reader, Edie is up on all the new things happening in Austin. 

Both Wendy and Melissa have served as President of the TCMA, they are back for an encore in the Community Service space that they both love and share a passion for.

Ashley is originally from Indiana and now makes her home in Austin. She has 2 children and assists in her husbands plastic surgery practice.

Cathy grew up in a military family and worked professionally as a toxicologist. She now enjoys fused glass, professional soccer and gardening.

Originally from South Africa, Verlaine now makes her home in Austin. She devotes many hours to community service projects and is glad to assist the medical Alliance with their efforts.

Originally from Michigan, Lara has guided the Alliance in many ways, from Programs to the Chic Ladies group, she makes sure all birthdays are celebrated and all restaurants explored.

After serving in the military as a Registered Dietician, Cindy and her husband, Sean, moved to Austin with their 2 children. She loves the social and networking aspects of the TCMA and has served in numerous positions.
